Simmonds offer two options for purchasing school uniform at your convenience; these include online shopping and shopping at Simmonds in Tunbridge Wells. NEW ENTRANTS TO BENNETT MEMORIAL DIOCESAN SCHOOL For reasons of sizing, advice on quantities and care labels, and in order to avoid the need for returns, we recommend that uniform for new entrants is purchased from Simmonds in Tunbridge Wells as opposed to online. Shopping online is suitable for repeat or replacement purchases, and delivery is to home. Simmonds are located at 64 Calverley Road, Tunbridge Wells, TN1 2UG and are open daily from Monday to Saturday 9.00am-5.30pm. It is not necessary to make an appointment for your child regarding the purchase of uniform. If you wish to contact a member of staff at Simmonds, the telephone number for Tunbridge Wells and email address are detailed at the top of this page.   SHOPPING ONLINE Shopping online will be available to customers 24hours/365 days/year. The prices are the same as shop prices and delivery is to home or Simmonds in Tunbridge Wells. Payment online is secure and Simmonds operate a credit / debit card payment system through World Pay. Delivery charges apply but are based on product size and weight in accordance with postage costs. Delivery is within 3 working days unless otherwise specified. Emails and calls received out of hours will be answered when normal business resumes weekdays between 9am to 5pm. Mixing element s of the old and new school uniform will not be allowed.       P.E. KIT   The following PE Kit is required for various activities at School. Items in SECTION ONE should be ordered through Simmonds of Tunbridge Wells.             Items in SECTION TWO may be purchased through the supplier of your choice. Towel for washing is recommended. Every piece of kit must be named. No jewellery may be worn in PE – this includes earrings. Long hair must be tied back for safety reasons. NAMING ALL CLOTHING & PERSONAL ITEMS All items of clothing and footwear and personal property should be clearly and permanently marked with the owners name and initials. Name tapes are available from Simmonds, either as iron on or sew in.
