Families are also able to buy non specific items of day uniform from other retail outlets.There is currently no change to the supply and style of the PE kit.   NEW ENTRANTS TO CHELMSFORD COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL FOR GIRLS All new entrants to CCHS will be required to wear the new navy and lilac uniform introduced in September 2010.  From September 2011 the navy and lilac uniform will be compulsory for students in years 7, 8, 9 and 10. The old grey uniform may only be worn by year 11 girls and will have been completely phased out by July 2012. For further details regarding the uniform guidelines during the changeover period please refer to the documents published by the school especially documents relating to skirt lengths.  Mrs Taylor a member of Simmonds staff will be available to assist you with your purchases and queries relating to CCHS uniform. Mrs Taylor manages the uniform shop at CCHS and you may contact her on the shop number which is detailed on the right hand side of this webpage. Shopping online is convenient and enables customers to have the freedom to shop from home or work; it can also provide a ‘one stop shopping experience’ for families and uniform exchanges can be made at the uniform shop provided a proof of purchase is available.   CUSTOMER SERVICE   Shopping online is available to customers 24 hours/day, 365 days/year.  Delivery is to home or an address of your choice. Payment online is secure and Simmonds operate a credit / debit card payment system through World Pay. Delivery charges apply but are based on product size and weight in accordance with postage costs. Students are not permitted to mix and match the old and new uniform.
