Simmonds offers two options for purchasing school uniform at your convenience; these include online shopping and shopping at the Cornelius Vermuyden School & Arts College. NEW ENTRANTS TO THE CORNELIUS VERMUYDEN SCHOOL & ARTS COLLEGE For reasons of sizing, advice on quantities and care labels, and in order to avoid the need for returns, we recommend that uniform for new entrants is purchased from the school shop. The school shop is situated within school close to reception. The school uniform shop has a dedicated phone line. If phoning out of school hours please leave a message and a member of Simmonds staff will call you back. Simmonds provide the Cornelius Vermuyden School & Arts College uniform and are responsible for operating the school shop which is managed by Julie Mayo. The shop is open for business during school term time on Tuesday and Thursday between 2.30pm and 3.30pm. Details of opening during school holidays and at other times can be obtained from Tunbridge Wells or alternatively by emailing or telephoning the school shop; details above in the Contact box. Please note that uniform for the Cornelius Vermuyden School & Arts College is not sold through Simmonds Shop in Tunbridge Wells. SHOPPING ONLINE Shopping online is available to customers 24 hours/day, 365 days/year. Online selling prices are shown on the website and delivery is to home. Payment online is secure and we operate a credit / debit card payment system through World Pay. Delivery charges apply to goods and are based on product size and weight in accordance with postage costs. Delivery is within 5 working days unless otherwise specified. CUSTOMER SERVICE Calls and emails received out of hours will be answered when normal business resumes weekdays between 9.00am to 5.00pm. THE CORNELIUS VERMUYDEN SCHOOL & ARTS COLLEGE UNIFORM The School believes that wearing a uniform helps to create a sense of belonging and identity and contributes to the creation of a purposeful, industrious atmosphere. The items listed below are designed with both smartness and practicality in mind and all pupils will be expected to adhere consistently to standards set by the School, not to follow changing dictates of fashion. * - optional item(s) School Uniform Shop With the exception of footwear, all uniform items should be purchased through the school uniform shop. Some schoolwear items are discounted through the school shop, however these ‘special price shop discounts’ do not apply to online purchases. The uniform shop is open every Tuesday and Thursdays during term time between 2.30 and 3.30 p.m. and during school holidays at pre-arranged times. NAMING ALL CLOTHING & PERSONAL ITEMS All items of clothing and footwear and personal property should be clearly and permanently marked with the owner’s name.
