Simmonds offer two options for purchasing school uniform at your convenience; these include online shopping and shopping at Simmonds in Tunbridge Wells. NEW ENTRANTS TO THE JUDD SCHOOL For reasons of sizing, advice on quantities and care labels, and in order to avoid the need for returns, we recommend that uniform for new entrants is purchased from Simmonds in Tunbridge Wells as opposed to online. Shopping online is suitable for repeat and replacement purchases, and delivery is to home. Simmonds is located at 64 Calverley Road, Tunbridge Wells, TN1 2UG and is open from 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday. If you wish to contact a member of staff at Simmonds about the school uniform, contact details are shown towards the top of this page on the right hand side. It is not necessary for you to make an appointment for your child regarding the purchase of uniform. SHOPPING ONLINE Shopping online is availabile to customers 24 hours/day, 365 days/year. The prices are the same as shop prices and delivery is to home. Payment online is secure and Simmonds operate a credit / debit card payment system through World Pay. Delivery charges apply but are based on product size and weight in accordance with postage costs. Delivery is within 5 working days unless otherwise specified. CUSTOMER SERVICE There is a dedicated customer service email (customerservice@simmonds-ltd.com) and telephone helpline available from 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Calls and emails received out of hours will be answered when normal business resumes weekdays between 9.00am and 5.00pm. SCHOOL UNIFORM School specific uniform is worn by boys in years 7 to 11, with the exception of the boy’s tie which is also worn by students in year 12 and 13. This jacquard tie is worn in conjunction with a suit. Other details for year 12 and 13 dress policy should be sought from the school please. The school uniform price list is available online, and the selling prices shown give an indication of price. Prices vary according to size and some larger sizes are subject to V.A.T. NAMING ALL CLOTHING & PERSONAL ITEMS All items of clothing and footwear and personal property should be clearly and permanently marked with the owners name and initials. GIRLS may wear plain tailored trouser suits in black, navy or dark grey.  (No jeans or casual trousers.)   Students may choose to wear a skirt to school as opposed to a trouser suit, however the only skirt permitted to be worn will be the 6^th Form school specific skirt supplied by the school outfitter Simmonds and costs from £13.95 to £17.35. Please note the school 6^th form dress code on skirt length must be adhered to otherwise the school reserves the right to send students home from school to change. For clarity the skirt length should be just on or just above the knee when standing so that when seated no more than 6cm of leg is visible. The skirt will be shown on the Simmonds website www.simmonds-ltd.com under the Judd uniform page or it can be purchased from Simmonds, Tunbridge Wells.  Jackets should be black, dark grey or navy.  Shirts may be plain grey, blue (not denim) or white with a collar and sleeves.  (White must be worn on formal occasions).   A plain dark jumper in black, navy or grey may be worn in addition to, but not instead of, the jacket.  Shirts should not hang below sweaters and jackets.  Tights should be black, navy or neutral and in a plain style and shoes black or navy with a low heel.
