Simmonds offer two options for purchasing school uniform at your convenience; these include online shopping and shopping at the school shop. NEW ENTRANTS TO OAKWOOD PREPARATORY SCHOOL For reasons of sizing, advice on quantities and care labels, and in order to avoid the need for returns, we recommend that uniform for new entrants is purchased from the school uniform shop which is located within the school grounds in the vicinity of the swimming pool. New parents will always be offered the opportunity to have a private uniform fitting in the shop. During term time please leave a message on the shop answerphone to arrange this. Out of term time please contact the school office for details regarding appointments.        Simmonds provide the uniform and are responsible for operating the shop which is run by Jacqueline Sage. The shop is open for business in term time on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings between 8.15am and 9.15am. During the holidays the shop opening times vary and details of these opening times can be obtained from the uniform shop or school office. Please note that if you leave a telephone message on the shop answerphone, it may not be answered until the shop re-opens. SHOPPING ONLINE Shopping online is available to customers 24hours/day, 365 days/year. The prices are the same as shop prices and delivery is to home. Payment online is secure and Simmonds operate a credit / debit card payment system through World Pay. Delivery charges apply but are based on product size and weight in accordance with postage costs. Delivery is within 3 working days unless otherwise specified. CUSTOMER SERVICE There is a dedicated customer service email [customerservice@simmonds-ltd.com] and telephone helpline available from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Calls and emails received out of hours will be answered when normal business resumes weekdays between 9am to 5pm. OAKWOOD PREPARATORY SCHOOL UNIFORM LIST A uniform list is attached and may be printed. NAMING ALL CLOTHING & PERSONAL ITEMS All items of clothing and footwear and personal property should be clearly and permanently marked with the owners name and initials. style and colour of the official school uniform. All items should be clearly named.  The only items of jewellery allowed during school are stud earrings and watches. Earrings should be covered or removed during games. Watches should be removed during games and clearly named.   Hair Girls: Hair should be clean, tidy and well maintained. Girls with hair longer than shoulder length should tie their hair back with a regulation accessory whilst at school. Fringes should not fall into their eyes. No styling products or colours should be used and no extreme styles should be created.   Boys: Hair should be clean, tidy and well maintained. Ideally boys should have hair no longer than their collar.   Fringes should not fall into their eyes. No styling products or colours should be used and
