ONLINE OR SCHOOL SHOP?
Simmonds offer two options for purchasing school uniform at your convenience; these include online shopping and shopping at the school shop.
NEW ENTRANTS TO ORIEL HIGH SCHOOL
For reasons of sizing, advice on quantities and care labels, and in order to avoid the need for returns, we recommend that uniform for new entrants is purchased from the school shop which is located at the top of the stairs, just above the main entrance.
An appointments system operates for the purchase of uniform. Please book your appointment online or directly with the school shop.
Simmonds provide the uniform and are responsible for operating the shop which is managed by Linda Muir. The shop is open for business in term time on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday between 2.30 and 3.30pm. During the summer holidays the shop opening times vary and details of these opening times can be obtained from the shop on the number above or by emailing the shop; again details above.
SHOPPING ONLINE
Shopping online will be available to customers 24hours/day, 365 days/year.
Deivery of garments is to home. Payment online is secure and Simmonds operate a credit / debit card payment system through World Pay. Delivery charges apply but are based on product size and weight in accordance with postage costs.

ORIEL SCHOOL UNIFORM
Oriel High School has a uniform because it believes that looking smart equals smart thinking and learning. The uniform has been developed to be special and distinctive. The uniform should be worn with pride. Students should look smart, hairstyles should be moderate, make-up discreet and no jewellery, except a wrist watch should be worn.
Students are allowed, if they wish, to wear a single plain (gold or silver) stud. This stud must not exceed 5mm in diameter and can only be worn in the ear lobe.
If a student arrives at school wearing incomplete uniform, they will be asked to change. The school will deal with the situation appropriately and the student will only be allowed back into lessons when the correct uniform is worn. Parents may be contacted to get the problem sorted. All basic uniform items, including the PE uniform, should be bought from the Simmonds uniform shop or online, again through Simmonds.
NAMING ALL CLOTHING & PERSONAL ITEMS
All items of clothing and footwear and personal property should be clearly and permanently marked with the owners name and initials. Name tapes are available from Simmonds, either as iron on or sew in.
