ONLINE OR SCHOOL SHOP? Simmonds offer two options for purchasing school uniform at your convenience; these include online shopping and shopping at the Somerhill School Shop.
NEW ENTRANTS TO SOMERHILL PRE-PREP
For reasons of sizing, advice on quantities and care labels, and in order to avoid the need for returns, we recommend that uniform for new entrants is purchased from the school shop which is situated within the school buildings.
During back to school an appointments system operates for the purchase of uniform. Please book your appointment online or by telephoning Simmonds in Tunbridge Wells where staff will liaise with the school shop manager to make the necessary arrangements for your child.
Simmonds provide the Somerhill Pre-Prep uniform and are responsible for operating the shop which is managed by Nina Ferrigno. The shop sells uniform for The Three Schools at Somerhill; Somerhill Pre-Prep, Yardley Court and Derwent Lodge. The shop is open for business during school term time on Monday and Friday from 8.15-9.30am and on Wednesday from 3.00-4.30pm.
During the summer holidays the shop opens for a selected period of time. Details regarding opening times can be obtained from Tunbridge Wells on the number above, or by emailing the shop; again details above.
Please note that uniform for The Schools at Somerhill is not sold through Simmonds Shop in Tunbridge Wells.
SHOPPING ONLINE Shopping online will be available to customers 24 hours/day, 365 days/year.The prices are the same as shop prices and delivery is to home. Payment online is secure and Simmonds operate a credit / debit card payment system through World Pay. Delivery charges apply but are based on product size and weight in accordance with postage costs.
Delivery is within 5 working days unless otherwise specified.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
There is a dedicated customer service email [customerservice@simmonds-ltd.com] and telephone helpline available from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Calls and emails received out of hours will be answered when normal business resumes weekdays between 9am to 5pm.

NAMING ALL CLOTHING & PERSONAL ITEMS
All items of clothing and footwear and personal property should be clearly and permanently marked with the owner’s name. Name tapes are available from Simmonds, either as iron on or sew in, but the school prefers students to have woven name tapes where it is possible to use them.

A certain percentage of the money charged is returned to the original purchaser with the remainder being donated to the school. The shop is open Monday 3.30 – 4.30 and Wednesday 8.30 – 9.30 or by contacting Reception in case of difficulty. Clothing should be handed into Reception, clearly named, for processing. |
