During the holidays we will be opening by appointment only* as follows:
13/7 to 17/7 - from 10am to 12 and 2pm to 4pm
24/8 to 28/8 - from 9am to 4pm
1/9 - from 9am to 2pm (no appointment needed but NO full kit outs please that day - just top ups).

NEW ENTRANTS TO DERWENT LODGE
For reasons of sizing, advice on quantities and care labels, and in order to avoid the need for returns, we recommend that uniform for new entrants is purchased from the school shop which is situated within the school buildings.
During back to school, an appointments system operates for the purchase of uniform. Please book your appointment by telephoning Simmonds on 01892 837202 where staff will liaise with the school shop manager to make the necessary arrangements for your child.
Simmonds provide the uniform for Derwent Lodge and are responsible for operating the shop which is managed by Julie Pinnell and Chloe Cardew. The shop sells uniform for The Three Schools at Somerhill; Derwent Lodge, Yardley Court and Somerhill Pre-Prep. The shop is open for business during school term time on Monday and Friday from 8.15-9.30am and on Wednesday from 3.00-4.30pm.

The online shopping prices are detailed on the product pages, and may vary according to garment size. Payment online is secure and we operate a credit / debit card payment system through World Pay. Postage and packing is free on all orders despatched by Simmonds. Orders are despatched as promptly as possible however please allow up to 5 working days. Please note that in some schools we offer a uniform shop facility, which means that our stock is kept in numerous locations. Therefore if you place an order in the school holiday period, or during a period that the shop is closed, you may encounter a further delay as occasionally we are unable to access stock in a school shop until that school re-opens.
We hope that you are happy with your purchase, but should you need to return any goods please obtain a proof of posting. Please note, unless faulty or for reasons previously discussed with Simmonds Customer Service, returns are not paid for by Simmonds and you will be returning goods at your own cost.

All items of clothing and footwear and personal property should be clearly and permanently marked with the owner’s name. Name tapes are available from Simmonds, either as iron on or sew in, but the school prefers students to have woven name tapes where it is possible to use them.
The handbook for parents indicates the position required for name tapes on sports kit.
