Simmonds offer two options for purchasing school uniform at your convenience; these include online shopping and shopping at Simmonds in Tunbridge Wells. NEW ENTRANTS TO TUNBRIDGE WELLS GIRLS’ GRAMMAR SCHOOL For reasons of sizing, advice on quantities and care labels, and in order to avoid the need for returns, we recommend that uniform for new entrants is purchased from Simmonds in Tunbridge Wells as opposed to online. Shopping online is suitable for repeat or replacement purchases, and delivery is to home. Simmonds are located at 64 Calverley Road, Tunbridge Wells, TN1 2UG and are open daily from Monday to Saturday 9.00am-5.30pm. It is not necessary to make an appointment for your child regarding the purchase of uniform. SHOPPING ONLINE Shopping online is available to customers 24hours/365 days/year. The prices are the same as shop prices and delivery is to home. Payment online is secure and Simmonds operate a credit / debit card payment system through World Pay. Delivery charges apply but are based on product size and weight in accordance with postage costs. Delivery is within 5 working days unless otherwise specified. ONLINE CUSTOMER SERVICE There is a dedicated customer service email, customerservice@simmonds-ltd.com          and telephone helpline available from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.   Emails and calls received out of hours will be answered when normal business resumes weekdays between 9am to 5pm. A FULL UNIFORM LIST IS ATTACHED FOR YOUR INFORMATION NAMING ALL CLOTHING & PERSONAL ITEMS All items of clothing and footwear and personal property should be clearly and permanently marked with the owners name and initials. Initials should also be marked on the heel of training shoes. The full name, preferably using a nametag, should be sewn inside all garments.         SIXTH FORM      There is no uniform for the Sixth Form, but girls are expected to dress appropriately.                             Sportswear or sun clothes are not allowed.       Members of choir and orchestra will need a white blouse and black skirt.
